Invitation From Stephanie

Since this Sunday we will be having our missionary moment, we are all invited to bring someone to higher ground by sharing with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I testify and promise with all my heart that the Lord will provide an opportunity for us to share with someone this wonderful Gospel. Remember missionary moments do not have to be long and draw-out expressions of testimonies. As Elder Ballard says, we should reach out and share with others the basic information of the Church and sometimes the best way is by how we live, how we radiate the joy of the gospel in our lives, how we treat others, and how sincerely we follow the teachings of Christ (Faith, Family, Facts, and Fruits, Conference Address, October 2007). I know we all will have missionary experiences if we just look for the opportunities. Good luck and I look forward to hearing our experiences on Sunday!

Invitation This Week

“Our sincere prayers are always answered. Sometimes the answer may be no, because what we have asked for would not be best for us. Sometimes the answer is yes, and we have a warm, comfortable feeling about what we should do (see D&C 9:8–9). Sometimes the answer is 'wait a while.' Our prayers are always answered at a time and in a way that the Lord knows will help us the most." (Gospel Principles, Chapter 8 "Praying to Our Heavenly Father," p. 37). To that quote our teacher Lucy Park wanted to add that we should not expect to pray and receive an answer right a way. The process takes time, but an answer will come. Just be patient.

With that, you all are invited to work this week on keeping regular, sincere, faithful prayers as a part of your daily routine. I cannot wait to hear your experiences on Sunday!

Invitation From Stephanie

What a great meeting we had yesterday! Thank you to all who were there! For those of you who were unable to attend, here is a little highlight of what was shared about the Holy Ghost: “When a man has the manifestation from the Holy Ghost, it leaves an indelible impression on his soul, one that is not easily erased. It is Spirit speaking to spirit, and it comes with convincing force. A manifestation of an angel, or even of the Son of God himself, would impress the eye and mind, and eventually become dimmed, but the impressions of the Holy Ghost sink deeper into the soul and are more difficult to erase" (Gospel Principles, Chapter 7 "The Holy Ghost," p. 33).

With that, you all are invited to learn how to keep the Holy Ghost in your lives this week and recognize how it speaks to you. I hope all of us will do the invite because the Holy Ghost truly has the power to leave a deep impression on our souls! I cannot wait to hear your experiences on Sunday!

Thank you again and again for all you do! I know that you all have so much to do in your lives, but I am glad you are making an effort to do live the gospel. No matter how small our efforts, as long as we are improving that is all that matters.

Invitation and Promise From Stephanie

All Relief Society sisters are invited to prioritize their lives this week and make daily personal prayer and daily personal scripture study a part of their routine. I promise that as these two essentials are implemented, the necessary things in life will fall into their proper places, especially opportunities to comfort, heal, bless, and love those you visit teach. I cannot wait to hear how the first week went and how the spirit is more fully affecting your lives!
p.s. Does anyone know what scripture story this picture is depicting?

Invitation This Week

"Ponder the direction of your life and choose one aspect that you feel you should change through repentance. Throughout this and next week, ask the Lord to help you change, and make a commitment to yourself and Him to change your behavior. Extra credit: Read Alma 5."
